BTPN Syariah Net Profit Increases 16.6 Percent In Semester I-2025

JAKARTA - PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) recorded a net profit of IDR 644 billion in the first semester of 2025. This achievement grew 16.6 percent year on year (yoy) with financing distribution reaching IDR 10.14 trillion.

"This profit growth is a reflection of improving the quality of financing supported by the superior behavior of customers built by banks," said BTPN Syariah Director Fachmy Achmad quoting Antara.

BTPN Syariah recorded a bank financial ratio with a return on Asset (RoA) of 7.6 percent, and a Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) ratio of 54.5 percent or exceeding the industry average. RoA increased compared to the same period last year of 6.6 percent, and CAR for the same period last year of 50 percent.

Meanwhile, the cost to income ratio (Cost to Income Ratio) is 48 percent and the cost of funds (Cost of Fund) is 4.4 percent in the first semester of 2025.

Fachmy said that BTPN Syariah maintains the quality of financing through intensive assistance and appreciation programs provided to customers. This effort, he said, succeeded in encouraging net profit growth.

BTPN Syariah, said Fachmy again, builds four superior behaviors of customers, namely Dare to Do Business, Discipline, Hard Work, and Assistance (BDKS), so that they can grow, survive, and develop in various situations. These four superior behaviors, he said, are important factors in maintaining the quality of financing.

The routine presence of customers to attend at the fostered center, he said, makes bank service activities run optimally, thus making a real contribution to the improving quality of financing.

In addition to providing intensive assistance, Fachmy explained, BTPN Syariah also shows its appreciation for customer discipline by providing incentives for individual customers who have a smooth payment, rewards for selected centers, and also the One Aircraft Umrah Program.

This program is given to inspirational centers that consistently apply the principles of BDKS, discipline in paying installments, and actively inspiring the surrounding community.

This year, the number of centers dispatched in the One Aircraft Umrah Program increased to 18 centers from the previous 10 centers in 2024.

"This variety of appreciations given is our commitment to realizing good intentions more quickly for customers as well as motivating them to continue to be disciplined in carrying out four superior behaviors, and is expected to be an inspiration for other centers in remote areas of the country," said Fachmy.
