Google Ready To Release ChromeOS 138 Update, Here's A Series Of New Features
JAKARTA Google revealed that the ChromeOS 138 update, the operating system (OS) from Chromebook, is getting closer. This OS will get a series of interesting features.
On the Chromebook help page, Google explains that this update will be rolled out in stages in the next few days. The following is a series of features that will be present on ChromeOS 138.
AI-based Wallpaper Maker
One of the features to come in is the Free Shape Wallpaper. On ChromeOS 138, users can turn the background into a private canvas by inserting a text command.
This feature is available specifically for Chromebook Plus. Thanks to AI support, this feature also offers the Inspire Me option to generate random wallpapers.
Solutions To Understand Complicated Text
ChromeOS 138 will get another AI-based feature, namely Help Me Read. This feature is designed to help users understand complicated text.
Just select text and right-click to get a easier-to-understand version of writing. Just like wallpaper AI makers, this feature is also exclusive to Chromebook Plus.
ChromeOS Table Synchronization
This new feature helps users to continue their work smoothly through other devices. This feature can restore all windows, tabs, and even cookies from the previous session.
Improved ChromeOS Accessibility
Accessibility updates are the most important focus for Google. In this update, Google includes improvements that include better screen reader navigation and more accurate announcements in various apps.
