Drama Bursa Transfer MU: Amoram Siap 'Tampung' Yang Tak Laku!
JAKARTA - Manchester United has the potential to lose some of their star players in the transfer market this summer. However, coach Ruben Amorim emphasized that not necessarily everyone who wants to leave will really leave.
It is known that four Manchester United players, namely Marcus Rashford, ten Malacia, Jadon Sancho, and Antony, are said to want to find a new club. Rashford is currently back on loan at Barcelona, while the other three are still in the squad. Alejandro Garnacho's name is also rumored to be on the list of players who can leave the club.
However, Amorim emphasized that the move of these players really depends on the conditions on the transfer market.
The reasons are different for each player. Some need new clubs to be able to play more, and some really want new challenges," said Amorim as quoted by TeamTALK, Saturday, July 26.
"We give them time to think and make decisions. But if they come to a point where they have to return to the team, they will still come back because they are still Manchester United players," he continued.
Amoritism also revealed that the club had set a price to meet if anyone wanted to recruit the players. If no one meets that number, they will stay at Old Trafford.
If that number is not met, they will remain at Manchester United. I understand that many clubs are waiting until the end of the transfer market, but they could be shocked. I am ready to welcome them back. They will face tougher competition. If they want to play in the World Cup next year, they have to play.
According to him, this situation is actually an advantage for the team because it increases the choice of players in the squad.
I'm happy because I have more choices. Competition between players is good. If they have to compete to play, for me it's perfect.
He also emphasized the importance of a collective spirit in living a competitive season. We will definitely experience difficult times, but the spirit and sense of togetherness of all elements, players, technical staff, and the whole club, will help us win even if we don't perform optimally," he said.
Playing for Manchester United is special. We must always remember that. This is the best club in the world and everyone at the club should feel the same way," he continued.
In addition to the internal situation, the latest news says Antony and Luke Shaw are in demand by Saudi Arabian clubs. Antony is said to be open to moving, while Shaw is also reportedly considering the option of moving to the Middle East.
On the other hand, Amorim has not been able to bring in a new midfielder because Casemiro is still standing. Manchester United was also offered striker Viktor Gyokeres, but the player is now closer to Arsenal.

However, Amorim said he was satisfied with the new players who had joined so far.
I am very happy. Fast recruitment is important even though it can't always happen. But players who come have proven their quality in the Premier League. Matheus, for example, can play in many positions, so he can give flexibility at starting XI," he explained.
This situation indicates that Manchester United are still in the midst of an important transition period, with the possibility of a squad reshuffle, but stick to competitive principles and a sense of togetherness that becomes the foundation of the club.
