Jakarta Weather Today: Sunny In The Morning, Rain At Night

JAKARTA - Jakarta residents are advised to be aware of the potential for rain that will flush a number of areas on Saturday, July 26 evening.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts light to moderate rain will fall in various parts of Jakarta.

In a weather report uploaded via the official Instagram account @infobmkg on Saturday morning, it was stated that West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta are predicted to experience sunny to cloudy weather from morning at 07.00 WIB to noon at 13.00 WIB.

However, entering the afternoon at 16.00 WIB, the three areas will begin to be shrouded in thick clouds. Then, at night, precisely from 19.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB, the rain is predicted to flush this area. The air temperature in the area ranges from 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the areas of Central Jakarta and North Jakarta are also predicted to be sunny and cloudy in the morning until noon.

However, the weather began to change at 16.00 WIB, marked by an increase in the intensity of thick clouds. Rain is predicted to fall at 22.00 WIB in these two areas, with temperatures ranging from 26-32 degrees Celsius.

Weather conditions in the Thousand Islands region are observed to be relatively stable. BMKG estimates that the sky of the Thousand Islands will be cloudy to thick cloudy throughout the day, from 07.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB. The temperature in this area tends to be lower than the mainland of Jakarta, which is between 26 to 29 degrees Celsius.

BMKG urges the public to remain alert to rapid weather changes, especially at night. Residents are advised to prepare rain shielding equipment, such as raincoats or umbrellas when doing activities outside the home, and be careful when driving on slippery roads.
