Jonathan Frizzy's Detention Postponement Is Rejected, Will Session August 6
The Tangerang City District Attorney (Kejari) has officially rejected the request for a suspension of detention submitted by actor Jonathan Frizzy.
With this refusal, Jonathan Frizzy will certainly remain in detention pending the trial process.
"The request from his lawyer (Jonathan Frizzy), we refuse, will still be detained," said Head of the Intelligence Section of the Tangerang City Attorney General's Office, Anak Agung Made Agung Suarja Teja Buana when contacted, Friday, July 25.
The Prosecutor's Office revealed several reasons for rejecting the petition. The main reason is to ensure the smooth running of the trial process and enforce equality in the eyes of the law.
"The reason for being rejected; not in a state of severe illness, to speed up the trial process, and Ijonk cs is treated the same as other prisoners and applies equally to the law," he explained.
Along with this rejection, the schedule for the inaugural trial of the case that ensnared the man who is familiarly called Ijonk has also been set.
"There has been a determination (of the trial) on August 6, 2025," he said.

Thus, it can be ascertained that Jonathan Frizzy will continue to serve his terms of detention until the trial begins.
