CSR BI Corruption Case, 2 Bank BJB Employees From The Cirebon Source Branch Are Worked On By The KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined two employees of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten, Tbk (BJB) or BJBR related to the alleged corruption of social responsibility funds or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Bank Indonesia (BI) today, Friday, July 25.

One of them is Mohammad Fahmi Heryanda as Junior Relationship Officer of Consumer BJB Sumber Branch, Cirebon.

"The investigation was carried out at the Cirebon City Police Station," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo in a written statement, Friday, July 25.

Apart from Fahmi, investigators also summoned Silmi Ahda Fauziyah as the teller of Bank BJB Sumber Branch, Cirebon and a driver named Shoihbul Ilmi alias Encip. Budi has not yet detailed the material for the examination but they were questioned as witnesses.

"The KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses suspected of being TPK related to the distribution of funds for the Bank Indonesia Social Program (PSBI) or CSR Bank Indonesia," he said.

The case is said to be entering a new chapter soon. Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu said the suspect's name would be announced next month.

"Yesterday we were exposed. Yesterday, this week. Maybe in the near future, it will not pass through August, hopefully we will announce it including the names," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday night, July 24.

Previously reported, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption in the Social Responsibility Fund (CSR) of Bank Indonesia (BI). There are no suspects in the regulation because the investigation uses a general investigation warrant (sprindik) issued in December 2024.

However, two people or even more have the potential to be charged after a search was carried out at the Bank Indonesia office to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on Monday night, December 16, 2024.

In this case, the KPK has also examined a number of parties. Among them are DPR member of the NasDem Party faction Satori and Member of the DPR Gerindra Party faction Heri Gunawan.

Investigators have also searched Satori's house in the Cirebon area, West Java. From the search process, investigators found documents allegedly related to the alleged corruption of BI's CSR funds.

Investigators have also searched Heri Gunawan's house and found evidence including documents. The BI CSR funds allegedly flowed to a number of foundations and became assets enjoyed by related parties.
