The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Will Follow Up On Gold Gifts From ASDP Directors To State-Owned Enterprises Ministry Officials
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will follow up on the facts of the trial which stated that the Directors of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) gave gold parcels to officials at the Ministry of SOEs. The prosecutor will analyze the witness' testimony.
"We will analyze the information we obtained at the time of prosecution at the trial," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters quoted on Friday, July 25.
The results of this analysis, continued Asep, will later be used to carry out further investigations. "Later, the prosecutor will make a report on the progress of the prosecution," he said.
"Reports on the development of prosecution for the discovery of a new crime. So, we are analyzing this," continued the Director of Investigation of the KPK.
The allegation of giving gold parcels to SOE Ministry officials emerged from the testimony of the Director of PT ASDP for the 2017-2019 period Wing Antariksa. He was presented as a witness in the trial of alleged corruption in the business cooperation process (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) for the 2019-2022 period.
He admitted that each board of directors was asked for IDR 50-100 million by the former President Director of PT ASDP Ira Puspadewi, who is now a defendant. The money collected was then bought for gold to be handed over to officials at the Ministry of SOEs.
"What is the method? Is the money from Mrs. Ira herself or collected from each director," asked the prosecutor at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN), Thursday, July 24.
"Setahu saya yang pertama kali diminta adalah saya dan Direktur Keuangan, kemudian juga seingat saya diminta juga Direktur Komersial, dan juga Direktur Operasi. Yang tidak diminta saat itu adalah Direktur, menyebutnya apa saya lupa, nama jabatannya apa, sebuah rencana, namanya kalau tidak salah satu layanan itu tidak diminta," jelas Wing.
"So, we were asked to collect money. As far as I remember, the amount was Rp. 50-100 million to buy gold," he said again.
Meanwhile, Corporate Secretary of PT ASDP Imelda Alini Pohan, who was also presented as a witness, admitted that Ira asked Ira to deliver the gold parcel to officials of the Ministry of SOEs. Imelda admitted that he refused the request.

"So, when I first received a call I was asked to be delivered, but I don't know where it came from, it's a source from. I refused, I was not willing, and I was said this was a way to establish a relationship with a third party and I said I'm not used to that because I was only recruited from the private sector to BUMN. That was my first year in the first month, I refused," said Imelda.
