Puan Calls PDIP, PKB, And Gerindra Brothers: Signal PDIP To Close To Government?
JAKARTA - The chairman of the DPR and the chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP, Puan Maharani, revealed that the relationship between PDIP and the National Awakening Party (PKB) has been established for a long time, like brothers. Puan said that PDIP, Gerindra and PKB always stay in touch and match the vision and mission for the progress of the nation.
"PDI-P and the National Awakening Party have always been like brothers, stay in touch, match vision and mission," said Puan, Thursday, July 24.
This was conveyed by Puan after attending the commemoration of the 27th Birthday (Harlah) of the PKB which was held in Jakarta on Wednesday, July 23, evening.
Puan also appreciated the important role of PKB in its contribution to state development. As a party based on Islamic values, she hopes that PKB will continue to strengthen its commitment to working together in developing the country.
"PKB, as a party based on the principle of rahmatan lil alamin, has a very important role in maintaining the balance of development," said Bung Karno's grandson.
Puan also hopes that PDIP and PKB can continue to strengthen the foundations of democracy and Indonesia's progress in the future.
"Hopefully PKB will continue to play an active role in creating fair policies and providing benefits to all Indonesian people," added Puan.
Previously, Puan also agreed with the statement of the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, who revealed the relationship between the two parties, such as brothers and sisters.
