Central Jakarta Police Hunt For Wild Jukir Who Is A Motorbike At The HI Roundabout

The joint team from the Central Jakarta Metro Police and the Menteng Metro Police conducted a check on the crime scene (TKP) following the illegal jukir action that carried out burglary against a number of motorcyclists in the HI Roundabout area, Central Jakarta, Thursday, July 24, 2025.

"The team is still looking for the jukirnya," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Ruslan when confirmed by VOI.

The police also conducted a crime scene investigation and collected a number of witness statements from the scene of the incident related to acts of thuggery in the HI Roundabout area.

Previously, it was reported that thuggery in the mode of illegal parking attendants (jukir) was again rampant in the HI Roundabout area, Menteng, Central Jakarta. They often act at night.

Even the perpetrators are not half-hearted when in action, they often ask for parking fees of Rp. 10 thousand motorcyclists.

This incident was revealed after one of the female motorists was about to park, but the thugs had asked for a parking fee of Rp. 10 thousand.

"He asked for parking money, we just asked for parking money because he wanted to go home. So he asked for parking money. The perpetrator asked for Rp10 thousand for illegal parking fees first to the motorcyclist because he wanted to go home. This made the motorists furious until they finally recorded and insulted the perpetrators' actions.

"So he asked for parking money. We mean that it's okay to pay for parking neatly, take care of it first, we just got off the motorbike, not still wearing a helmet. Just a coffee shop. It happened around HI," he said.
