Riders Become Artists' Rights, Reza Arap: Roy CDC Asks For Pokemon Cards

JAKARTA - The frontman of Weird Genius, Reza Arap, has opinions regarding riders which have recently become a topic of conversation among Indonesian music actors. According to him, riders are obligations that must be fulfilled by the organizers.

"This is according to me. I'm just talking diplomatic. And (the rider) is actually the right of the talent or the artist," Reza Arap told the media crew in Kemang, South Jakarta recently.

With this argument, Arap sees no matter how strange the artists are, it becomes something that cannot be disputed.

"So, I think it's okay, no matter how strange it is," he said.

He also revealed the riders his colleague used to ask for at Weird Genius, Roy CDC.

"One of the Weird Genius members, Roy, he's the riders asking for a Pokemon card, but in the mini market, it's not like that, this is a category, which. He likes every gig," said Arap.

"It's just that it's too strange, I see a lot of something strange, just yaudah, it's okay, free, people's rights."

Furthermore, Arap also revealed the riders he always asked the organizers, which he admitted had not changed for a long time.

"Gua has never changed until now. Cigarettes, and one more fried chicken brand," he said.

Not without reason, Arap felt that the food riders were very useful. If I haven't eaten yet, so I can eat immediately. If you eat, you can make my crew."

However, Arap stated that some organizers did not fulfill all of Weird Genius's riders. According to him, it is also something that can be learned.

"Often (riders are not fulfilled), but that's okay, okay, just don't worry, it's time to get angry, it's okay," he concluded.
