Character Of Gray, Gisella Anastasia Has Difficulty In Dalebrating The Role In Film A Normal Woman

JAKARTA - Gisella Anastasia returns to acting through the film A Normal Woman. This film directed by Lucky Kuswandi is his first acting project this year.

Gisel plays Erika, a cheerful facial artist who is always persistent in his work. Despite looking easy, Gisel admits playing Erika is a difficulty he tries to understand.

"The character is formed very reasonable, so even though it is made into a character like an antagonist, they have reasons," Gisel said at a press conference in South Jakarta on Wednesday, July 23.

"It's also confusing to play a gray character. As a person who lives and learns from harsh life, I learn not to judge others," he said.

Regarding his character, Gisel felt the decisions made by his character made to make his figure multi-dimensional so that the audience would understand his character.

Erika ini punya keinginan dan enggak ujug-ujug mau, tapi dia sudah mau hal itu dari kecil. Saya berusaha untuk mengerti bahwa karakter dan ada orang seperti ini. Kalau dicari memang ada alasannya," katanya lagi.

Andri Cung as the author of film A Normal Woman explained, rather than emphasizing women, this film has conflicts relevant to various humans.

Starting from a conversation in a cafe so there is an idea, research but observation of living life and how the world is right now after that we explore the characters that are here. It seems that we live in society where we are fed with things that are considered normal," said Andri Cung.

The film A Normal Woman tells the story of a woman who changes her skin and begins to interfere with her life as a perfect mother and wife figure. Through her latest role, she feels that there are many reflections that are done as a woman.

The film A Normal Woman will be released on Netflix on Thursday, July 24.
