RI's 80th Anniversary Logo Launched
The logo and theme for the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia were launched by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace, Jakarta, accompanied by an official link.
Reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 23, the logo with the design number 80 by Bram Patria Yoshugi from the Indonesian Graphic Designers Association (ADGI) was directly selected by President Prabowo from five design options that were included in the shortlist of competition selection results.
To download with a large resolution, the Ministry of State Secretariat has also created a special link to make it easier for the public, ministries/agencies, MSME players.

Presiden Prabowo, saat acara peluncuran, menyebut desain logo HUT Ke-80 RI itu merupakan karya anak bangsa yang menjadi simbol membuat.
"This philosophical design displays the forms of interconnected 8 and 0 numbers, without end, and unbroken,infinity," said President Prabowo.
The President also announced the theme of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, namely 'United Sovereign, Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia'.
The Indonesian 80th Anniversary Logo, President Prabowo's choice, appeared with a simple design that clearly displayed the red and white 80 figure as a sign of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.
The logo design consists of two cylindrical-shaped fields contrasting the outline numbers 8 and 0 which if released from the outline have the meaning of two strong cores', namely sature' and density.
Then, the outer lines of numbers 8 and 0 that are firm in red are interpreted as lines of manifestation of the people of prosperity'. Numbers 8 and 0 are often symbolic, because they have lines that are connected to the ends and bases and do not cut off.
Two numbers 8 and 0, when juxtaposed together, are then interpreted as the 'complete form of advanced Indonesia'. Advanced Indonesia is a vision that Indonesia wants to achieve, especially when the Republic will be 100 years old in 2045.

The official logo for the 80th Indonesian Independence Day launched today is the winner of the competition which was attended by a total of 245 design submissions from designers from the Indonesian Graphic Design Association.
