Mbak Ita's Husband Has Been Examined By BPK For Project Findings In Semarang District
SEMARANG - Arwin Basri, husband of former Semarang Mayor Hevearita G. Rahayu alias Mbak ita, was questioned by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) regarding the findings of the implementation of work in various sub-districts in the capital city of Central Java Province.
"At around the end of 2023, BPK was asked for information," said Arwin when questioned as a defendant at a follow-up hearing in the alleged corruption case within the Semarang City Government at the Semarang Corruption Court, Wednesday, July 23, reported by ANTARA.
According to him, the examination was carried out on suspicion as if giving privileges to the Indonesian National Construction Implementation Association (Gapensi) for projects in the sub-district.
"I said that I don't know about it," he said in a trial chaired by Chief Judge Gatot Sarwadi.
Alwin admitted that he also did not know in his capacity as to what he was being questioned by the BPK.
According to him, contractors who are members of the Semarang City Gapensi received direct appointment work in the sub-district in the 2023 APBD Amendment.
He said the appointment of the Semarang City Gapensi contractor to do work in the capital city of Central Java Province was a form of aspiration that he conveyed at that time as a member of the Central Java DPRD.
"During the previous leadership of the mayor, Gapensi never got a job. Those who got a job were outsiders of Semarang," he added.

Meanwhile, former Mayor Hevearita G. Rahayu admitted that he did not know if her husband was being questioned by BPK.
"As far as I know there are findings from the BPK regarding alleged project irregularities in the sub-district of around Rp. 13 billion," he said.
According to him, BPK requested that the findings that were considered problematic be immediately returned to the regional treasury before the budget was closed.
However, Mbak Itameng admitted that he did not know in detail what BPK's findings were related to any projects.
