Again, Pertamina's Gas Cylinder Explodes, Six People Experience Burns
A total of six people suffered burns due to the explosion of a gas cylinder belonging to Pertamina on Tuesday, July 22 in Bekasi Regency, West Java.
Head of the Sub Division of Public Information (Penmas) Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Reonald Simanjuntak explained, the incident occurred in a restaurant located in Ruko Magnetica Block A Number 32-33 Lippo Cikarang, Cibatu Village, South Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency.
"The six victims consisted of five men with the initials ML, A, SY, MM and I. Meanwhile, one woman with the initials M," said AKBP Reonald Simanjuntak, quoting ANTARA, Wednesday, July 23.
Reonald explained, based on the testimony of witnesses, the incident began when the witnesses and the victim were cooking in the kitchen.

"While cooking, it turned out that the gas ran out, then the witness with the initials M wanted to replace the 12 kilogram gas cylinder and there was a problem with the gas cylinder," he said.
Then the witness repeatedly pressed the head of the tube so that the gas came out of the tube. Not long after, there was a fire strike that was thought to have come from a gas from a burning stove.
"Until it resulted in six people being burned," said Reonald.
The witness reported the incident to the police and the case is currently being handled by the South Cikarang Police.
