KPK Summons Director Of Indofood Subsidiaries Regarding Corruption In Bansos President
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined the Director of PT Indomarco Adi Prima, Joedianto Soejonopoetro today. He was questioned as a witness to the alleged corruption of the presidential social assistance for handling COVID-19 in the Jabodetabek area at the Ministry of Social Affairs for the 2020 period.
Reporting from a number of reports, PT Indomarco Adi Prima is a subsidiary of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. This company runs a distribution business unit.
"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, July 23.
Joedianto is currently still undergoing examination. He is said to have arrived at the KPK office at around 10:00 WIB.
Meanwhile, Budi has not detailed the examination material for Joedianto. He only said the information gathered would shed light on the case being handled.
"KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses suspected of corruption related to the president's social assistance for handling COVID-19 in the Jabodetabek area at the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2020," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK revealed that it was investigating allegations of corruption in the procurement of presidential social assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic which was distributed in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) in 2020. There are already suspects named, namely Ivo Wongkaren who is the President Director of Mitra Energi Persada.
The actions of the suspect in this case called the KPK caused the state to lose up to Rp250 billion due to a reduction in quality. This number can still increase because the calculation is still being carried out.
The procurement that was corrupted was called the KPK reaching 6 million packages. This figure is divided into three stages, namely, stages three, five, and six, the other reaching two million packages.
The corrupted social assistance was distributed by the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in a goodiebag with the Presidential Palace logo. In it there are rice, biscuits, cooking oil to other basic necessities.
