Shia LaBeouf And FKA Twigs Reach Agreement On Cases Of Harassment And Violence

JAKARTA - Shia LaBeouf and FKA Twigs agreed to end the conflict related to reports of cases of harassment and violence reported by Twigs to court in 2020.

This request was submitted by representatives from singer FKA Twigs, namely Bryan Freedman and Sean Hardy on Monday, July 21 yesterday. The trial of this case is scheduled for this year.

FKA Twigs sued her ex-lover on suspicion of violence and harassment during the relationship period. The two met after starring in the film Honey Boy from director Alma Har'el in 2019.

"Committed to take a constructive path forward, we have agreed to settle our case outside the court," Twigs and LaBeouf said through their lawyers in a statement to People.

"Although settlement information will remain confidential, we wish each other personal happiness, success, and peace in the future," the two parties said in a statement.

In his lawsuit, FKA Twigs claims that he suffered mental and physical losses during his relationship with the actor. He even admitted to contracting a sexual illness from LaBeouf.

Apart from Twigs, he also claimed LaBeouf had physical violence against Karolyn Pho, an FKA Twigs stylist who was LaBeouf's lover.

The actors did not respond directly to the lawsuit, but made an open statement regarding the claims that were fully denied.

Not the first time, Shia LaBeouf has been involved with the court. Previously, he also claimed that he was addicted to drugs and decided to rehabilitate up to several cases of violence.
