President Prabowo Presents The 2026 State Budget Bill On August 15

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani said President Prabowo Subianto would submit the Draft Law (RUU) of the State Budget for Fiscal Year 2026 along with the Financial Note on August 15.

In the context of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, President Prabowo will deliver two important speeches, namely State Speech and Speech Submission of the 2026 State Budget Bill along with Financial Notes and other Supporting Documents.

"Mr. President will later convey to the DPR, the plan is August 15 because Friday, the financial note and the 2026 State Budget Bill," said Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani when giving a statement at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 22.

Sri Mulyani explained that at her meeting with the President, she together with Deputy Minister of Finance Thomas Djiwandono and Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara reported to the President regarding the finalization of the 2026 State Budget Bill and the financial note to be submitted to the DPR/MPR on August 15, 2025, which falls on Friday.

During the meeting, the Minister of Finance discussed the preparation of the 2026 RAPBN which was based on macro assumptions, including inflation projections and economic growth based on global economic conditions, to domestic demand and people's purchasing power.

A number of priority programs that have been running, such as Free Nutrition Food (MBG), People's Schools, Red and White Village Cooperatives, Free Health Checks, school renovations, various Regional Road Inpres and improvements to food security infrastructure, are also the basis for the preparation of the 2026 RAPBN.

"We have reported all of that, so to get directions from the President, is the priority appropriate? For the finalization, of course, I will not convey it tonight, because later the President will convey it to the DPR, at the DPR Plenary Session on August 15," said Sri Mulyani.

Although the final results of the APBN discussion have not yet been detailed, the Minister of Finance said that all of these materials will be officially delivered by President Prabowo in a state speech at the DPR Plenary Session on August 15.

"So later stay tune for August 15, yes, based on the directions that the President has conveyed to us," continued the Minister of Finance.
