Police Arrest 2 Drug Dealers In Bungo Jambi, Secure Almost 1 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine
Bungo Jambi Police arrested two drug dealers with evidence that was secured by nearly 1 kilogram (kg) of crystal methamphetamine
"From the results of the arrests of the two suspects, we (Bungo Police) managed to secure two suspected perpetrators. The total items we secured reached 965.2 grams of methamphetamine," said Bungo Police Chief AKBP Natalena Eko Cahyono at a press conference in Muaro Bungo, Tuesday, July 22, confiscated by Antara.
He explained that the two people who were arrested had the initials SF, a resident of Tanjung Gedang and CK, a resident of Sungai Pinang, Bungo Dani District, Bungo Regency, both of whom were arrested on July 18.
The arrests of the two suspected perpetrators, he said, began with information from the public that in Purwobakti Village, Bathin III District, narcotics transactions often occur, and based on this information, members of the Narcotics Satresnal carried out surveillance.
"The first time members arrested SF, during a search, evidence was found of a clear plastic crystal of methamphetamine-type drugs wrapped in tissue," he said.
Furthermore, said Natalena, members of the Opsnal conducted an interrogation and from SF's confession, there was still more evidence that was buried behind a house in Taman Agung Village, Bathin III District, Muara Bungo, then the Opsnal members found the same item again.
From these findings, the Opsnal Members again conducted interrogations regarding the source of the goods and SF's confession stated another name with the initials CK.
Then the Opsnal Members arrested CK in Setubu Village, Tanjung Menanti, Bathin II Babeko District, Bungo Regency, and managed to find a package of six packages of methamphetamine wrapped in plastic.
"Now we have secured the two suspected perpetrators along with evidence of almost one kilogram of methamphetamine for further processing," said the Police Chief.

For their actions, according to him, the two perpetrators were charged with Article 114 Paragraph 2 and/or Article 112 Paragraph 2 of Law No. 35 of 2009, with a minimum penalty of six years and a maximum of 20 years and a maximum sentence of death or life.
