Bulog Supply SPHP Rice To Cooking Oil To The Red And White Kopdes

JAKARTA - Perum Bulog stated its full commitment to supporting the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes) program as a concrete step to strengthen national food security and village independence.

Bulog's Director of Business, Febby Novita said, through the Red and White Kopdes, Bulog will distribute basic foodstuffs such as SPHP rice (Stability of Supply and Food Prices), premium rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other food products to village cooperatives.

Febby said this collaboration not only helps supply stability, but also encourages active village participation in maintaining food security from the lower levels.

"We hope that village cooperatives will become a node for the people's economic strength. Bulog is here to strengthen the food supply chain to remote villages and keep prices affordable for the community," Febby said in an official statement, Tuesday, July 22.

Febby explained that Bulog's involvement in this program is part of cross-sectoral synergy aimed at optimizing the role of village cooperatives in distributing food, strengthening local food reserves, and moving the people's economy.

Furthermore, Febby said that his party is ready to play an active role in ensuring this program runs effectively, especially in terms of strengthening supply and distribution of strategic foodstuffs to all corners of the village.

"We are ready to support and partner with village cooperatives in distributing rice and other staples, as well as being part of a strong national food logistics system," said Febby.

Febby said Bulog also opens opportunities for collaboration in the management of government food reserves with village cooperatives, including coaching in digital-based stock distribution and management systems.

"This program is expected to be an example of an efficient and inclusive food distribution model in the future," said Febby.

Sekadar informasi, program Koperasi Desa Merah Putih merupakan inisiatif strategis Presiden Prabowo Subianto yang digerakkan bersama oleh Kementerian/Lembaga dan sektor BUMN untuk membangun kemandirian pangan dari desa.

Dengan menggandeng koperasi sebagai penggerak utama, program ini menjadi wadah integratif antara produksi lokal, distribusi, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat desa.
