Komdigi Ready To Support Infrastructure And Interoperability Of The Red And White Kopdes Platform

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto officially launched 80,000 Red and White Village Cooperatives (Kopdes) today, July 21, 2025. The inauguration ceremony was centered in Bentangan Village, Wonosari, Klaten Regency, Central Java.

In supporting this Kopdes, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs affirms its commitment to handle digitalization aspects, including the provision of platform infrastructure and interoperability that will be used by cooperatives.

This was conveyed directly by the Deputy Minister of Communication and Trade, Nezar Patria, who stated that Komdigi would ensure that the digital system used was able to connect with each other and support cooperative operations efficiently.

"We are in accordance with the national plan regarding the Red and White cooperative, Komdigi is getting to prepare its digitization in the context of infrastructure plus interoperability from the platform that will be used in the Red and White cooperatives later," said Nezar on Monday, July 21.

He also added that he would coordinate with several ministries, including the Ministry of Cooperatives, in developing the cooperative's digital ecosystem, to ensure that the technology adopted was in accordance with needs.

"We are coordinating with other ministries, especially the cooperative ministry, how later the adoption of suitable technology or which can help the Red and White cooperative run as we expected," he said.

The Red and White Cooperative Program is the government's initiative to strengthen cooperatives as a pillar of the people's economy, which is expected later, with the Red and White Kopdes, the Indonesian people can realize the people's economic independence.
