"For losses, goods, soap, shampoo, cigarettes, medicines and others, my warehouse is almost all sold out, it can reach up to Rp. 300 million if calculated," Johan told reporters at the location, Monday.

Head of the Operations Section of the West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) Syarifudin said the fire of dozens of housing units on Jalan Pasar Garuda, RW 02 Duri Utara, Tambora, came from a burning stove in one of the residents' houses.

Syarif in Jakarta, Monday, said the stove was left on by the owner of the house, resulting in a fire.

"People cook, then forget to leave," he said.

However, Syarif has not said how the burning stove could cause a fire.
