Preventing Annexation, BPN Will Certify All Small Islands In East Lombok
Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) of East Lombok Regency I Komang Suarta said all small islands in the East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) were immediately certified to remain safe and not to be taken by any party.
"The local government will make a certificate for all small islands in the East Lombok region," he said in East Lombok, Monday, July 21, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said the certificate was made depending on who submitted it, whether it was the central, provincial or district governments.
"This is done to better curb the existence of the small island so that it is not controlled personally or by the company," he said.
Meanwhile, companies or investors who wish to invest will be given a Land Management Rights Permit (HPL) in accordance with the rules.
"If companies that want to manage small islands will get HPL according to the rules," he said.
Komang further said that after the Gili area was certified, then the local government could manage it according to the existing potential.
"Strickening this small island in order to secure assets so that there are no more claims belonging to individuals or companies," he said.
Previously, the East Lombok Regency Government collected data on the existence of small islands in the local area.
"The local government first controls the small island to determine the next steps," said East Lombok Small Island Inventory Team Secretary Ahmad Masfu.
