4 Illegal Travel Car Transporting Homecomers To Java Detained By Jembrana Police
JEMBRANA - Four illegal travel cars were arrested by members of the Jembarana Police, Bali. This car transports travelers to cross to Java Island.
The four black-plate vehicles were filled with travelers leaving Bali. They were secured because today the implementation of the ban on homecoming from May 6 to 17, 2021.
"We have secured 4 trips (illegal) to the Police. If we look at the KTP (ID card) and others, it is clear that the plan is to cross to Java", said Jembarana Police Chief AKBP I Ketut Adi Wibawa, when contacted Thursday, May 6.
This illegal travel was secured when going to Gilimanuk Port. Passengers and drivers are told to return to Denpasar, Bali.
"Since crossing is now prohibited for those who do not carry certain conditions to cross, we finally return it and we hold the travel first", said AKBP Adi Wibawa.
"If we have sent the person back to Denpasar. What is clear is that the passengers are full, all of them want to cross to Java. That, using a private car is not in accordance with its designation", he continued.
The police appealed to the public not to insist on homecoming. The point of isolation will be maintained as long as the homecoming prohibition applies.
"Now that the homecoming ban has begun, let us work together so that COVID-19 can be controlled and unlike in India", said AKBP Adi Wibawa.
