DKI Provincial Government Will Build And Revitalize 4 Markets To Be More Modern, This Is The Location
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government plans to build and revitalize four traditional markets with a more modern feel.
"We will revitalize several markets in the Central Jakarta area, North Jakarta. In addition, we are also building a TOD area in South Jakarta," said Assistant for the Economy and Finance of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretariat Suharini Eliawati to VOI, Friday, July 18.
The locations are Asem Substation Market, Central Jakarta; Kampung Ambon Market, East Jakarta; Kramat Jaya Market, North Jakarta; and Sungai Bambu Market, North Jakarta.
One location, namely Kramat Jaya Market, is a new development, while the other three locations are the total revitalization market.
"From the construction and revitalization of the four markets, the plan is to start next month. Currently, it is in the planning and finalization stage of technical preparations," said Perumda Pasar Jaya Public Relations Manager, Irfan.

The target for the start of the construction implementation, continued Irfan, will be adjusted to the readiness of all aspects, starting from licensing, budgeting, to location readiness.
Currently, the DKI Provincial Government and Pasar Jaya are still preparing a development financing scheme and revitalizing the market.
In addition, the DKI Provincial Government will also develop Pasar Minggu, in Pasar Minggu Village, South Jakarta to become a transit-oriented area with other facilities.
"Sunday's market in the TOD area is planned to be built mixed use into markets, residences, as well as sports or entertainment facilities," he said.
