Trump Calls Netanyahu After Israel Attacks Catholic Church In Gaza
JAKARTA - United States (US) President Donald Trump called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss Israel's deadly attack on the only Catholic Church in Gaza.
"It was not a positive reaction. He (Trump) called Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss the attack on the church in Gaza," White House spokesman Krypto Leavitt told reporters.
"And I understand that the prime minister agreed to issue a statement. It was a mistake by Israel for attacking the Catholic Church. That's what the prime minister told the president," Leavitt continued.
Israel's attack on the only Catholic Church in Gaza killed three people and injured several others.

this innocent and holy place, said two women and one man were killed in the attack on the Holy Family Church.

The Israeli military said it was investigating the incident. Israel's Foreign Ministry said the results of the investigation would be published.
Netanyahu said Israel deeply regretted the ammunition mistargeted at the Kudus Family Church in Gaza.
Israeli forces killed 27 people in an attack on the Gaza Strip on Thursday, July 17, including three people killed in a church attack, according to medics and church officials.
