Ozzy Osbourne's Last Concert Becomes The Biggest Charity Stage Since 1971
JAKARTA - Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath farewell concerts, 'Back to the Beginning', not only listed as the biggest heavy metal concert in history, but also recorded the record as the biggest charity show.
The concert, which was held at Villa Park, Birmingham, on July 5, managed to raise more funds than any other charity concert since the Concert to Bangladesh organized by George Harrison and Ravi totaling in 1971.
Based on Tom Morello's statement, guitarist Rage Against the Machine who is also the Music Director for the show, was raised for US $ 190 million which was later donated.
We are raising a lot of money for noble purposes, and so many great musicians, bands and fans around the world pay tribute to the greatest musicians of all time, Morello wrote, citing a caption on the post, Thursday, July 17.
Meanwhile, the proceeds from ticket sales of more than 40,000 spectators and 5.8 million people who watched online were evenly donated to Birmingham Children's Hospital, Acorn Children's Hospice, and Cure Parkinson's an organization dedicated to finding medicine for the disease Osbourne has suffered since 2019.

It is not clear how much the total donations for each of these charities are. However, each charity said that they managed to collect tens of thousands of pounds in the form of additional donations through lottery tickets for performances, auctions for iconic artworks and photos of bands donated by Black Sabbath.
In addition, there was a contribution in the form of individual donations from fans attending the concert, which took place at Villa Park in Birmingham, England on July 5.
For information, Ozzy Osbourne appeared in two sessions for the farewell concert. As a soloist, he performed five songs, namely I Don't Know, Mr. Crowley, Susicide Solution, Mama, Im Coming Home, and Crazy Train.
Meanwhile, while performing with the initial Black Sabbath' Tony Iommi,IRon Butler, and Bill Ward'sbourne personnel brought War Pigs, N.IB, Iron Man, and Paranoid.
The historic concert also features many major musicians, including from The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink 182, Pantera, Extreme, and many more.
