Walkot Bukittinggi Asks All Puth-colored Elementary School Buildings; If You Fire The Colors, They Will Be Colorful
BUKITTINGGI - Mayor of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, Ramlan Nurmatias asked the color of the elementary school building in the local area to have a uniform, white color.
"I ordered all school buildings to be painted white, do not hang other objects on the wall," said Ramlan as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, July 17.
"I saw that there was an elementary school with a colorful color. It's like SD 03 suddenly yesterday," said Ramlan.
According to him, the color of the school building is expected to affect the way students think.
"We want to start from elementary school to be instilled in children, meaning how he thinks, it means that color affects. If it's colorful, it means that it will be a colorful color as well as his mind," he said.
He explained that the white walls could be decorated with pictures of national figures or heroes as adders.
"We want Bukittinggi to be known as a city of fighters. The basis is this city is an important historical part of the Indonesian nation," said Ramlan.
