Carnival Chaos Because Sound Yerag Is Reconciled Through Mediation

The handling of chaotic cases led to persecution during a cultural parade that also included a "sound horeg" in Mulyorejo Village, Sukun District, Sunday (13/7) through mediation.

"There has been mediation, (peace) is the agreement between the two conflicting parties," said Head of the Public Relations Section of the Malang City Police (Polresta) Ipda Yudi Risdiyanto as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 16.

The mediation process against the riots that led to the persecution was carried out at the Mulyorejo Village Office, Sukun District, on Monday (13/7).

Based on information from the police, the incident began with a resident with the initials R who was also the wife of the MA reporter who was disturbed by the sound of the sound system being carried by cultural carnival participant number 2 when passing by his house.

R at that time asked the participants to disable the sound system by shouting.

Yudi said that knowing his wife was screaming, the Supreme Court immediately left the house, then allegedly pushing one of the carnival participants.

"Karena mengetahui temanya digong dari peserta yang lain terima, akhirnya terjadi pukulan. Korban MA mengalami luka di bagian temple left," ujarnya.

After being injured, the victim immediately reported the incident to the police.

One day later, the two opposing parties agreed to take the peaceful route, after mediation was carried out by Mulyorejo Village with the police, Bhabinkamtibmas, and local Babinsa.

"Both parties resolved the problem amicably. The representatives of residents from RT 02 RW 04 were able to provide compensation according to the request of the victim of Rp. 2 million and the victim had received it," he said.

Yudi stated that the reporter and victim of alleged abuse with the initials MA had also withdrawn the report that had previously been submitted to the local police.

"The report has been withdrawn yesterday (Tuesday)," he said.

As is known, the Malang City Government (Pemkot) is still waiting for the issuance of regulations governing the use of the "sound horeg" from the East Java Provincial Government.

The regulation follows the existence of a haram "sounder horeg" fatwa issued by the East Java Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).
