Operation Patuh Candi 2025, Officers Are Urged To Avoid Debate With The Community
SEMARANG - Operation Patuh Candi 2025 has officially lasted for 14 days since Monday, July 14, 2025. In its implementation, law enforcement is carried out through two main methods, namely fines and warnings of traffic violations.
Kasubdit Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Jateng AKBP Christopher Adhikara Lebang explained that the ticket in Operation Patuh Candi 2025 was carried out through two mechanisms, namely an electronic ticket (ETLE) and a manual ticket.
An electronic ticket is implemented by utilizing static and mobile ETLE cameras that automatically record traffic violations committed by motorists.
"Meanwhile, manual ticketing is only applied to visible eye violations that have been caught red-handed and carried out by certified officers. The violations that have been prosecuted are those that have the potential to cause fatal accidents," said AKBP Christopher in a statement received, Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Furthermore, enforcement of violations was also carried out through stationary raids carried out at a number of strategic points. However, he emphasized that in this raid activity, officers were prohibited from looking for driver errors.
"Officers are only allowed to take action against eye visible violations that are clearly visible and have the potential to endanger traffic safety. Actions must be carried out professionally and humanely," he said.

He also emphasized that officers were advised to avoid debate with the public in the field.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol Artanto, emphasized the importance of public awareness in traffic. He appealed to Central Java residents to obey the rules to create a safe highway.
"We invite the public to obey and obey traffic rules. Make the culture of traffic order as part of everyday life, because it involves not only personal safety, but also other road users," said Kombes Pol Artanto.
