Starting August 1, Some Flights Move From Halim To Soetta

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) said that the transfer of some scheduled flights from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to Soekarno Hatta Airport will be effective starting August 1, 2025.

The Director General of Civil Aviation, Lukman F. Laisa, said that the transfer of some scheduled flights was carried out to improve the quality of public services at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and Soekarno Hatta International Airport.

Lukman also said that his party had coordinated and held meetings related to the flight transfer plan.

"We have informed flight operators regarding the plan to carry out flight transfers from Halim to Soetta and in principle the flight operators agree," Lukman said in an official statement, Tuesday, July 15.

Lukman said the plan was fully supported by PT Batik Air Indonesia and PT Citilink Indonesia. The operator will follow up on the implementation of flight transfers from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to Soekarno Hatta Airport.

Regarding the flight transfer plan, Lukman hopes that flight operators and airport operators as well as other related parties can provide information to passengers and prospective passengers to minimize complaints and miscommunication on flights.

"This information is important for us to convey through all information channels so that all people, especially prospective airplane passengers, know about it. We also hope that prospective passengers who usually fly from Halim will always follow the development of this flight information," said Lukman.
