Man Who Died In Tanah Abang Alami Injured A Number Of Stabs On His Back, Runs Out Of Blood
Central Jakarta Metro Police is investigating a case of alleged murder of a young man who was found covered in blood on the sidewalk of the High Bridge, Tanah Abang.
"The victim was found last night (Monday, July 14) covered in blood," said Tanah Abang Police Chief, Central Jakarta Metro Police Commissioner Haris Akhmad Basuki, Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
According to him, from the statements of a number of witnesses that the victim with the initials MRN (21) initially ran while asking for help, because he had been a victim of stabbing.
After the witness looked at the victim, Haris continued, the victim had fallen on the sidewalk of the High Bridge, covered in blood.
"The witness saw the victim running towards the bridge screaming, help me get stabbed and that over and over again," he said.

Haris added that the victim had received help by a number of his relatives by being taken to the nearest hospital.
However, Haris said, when he arrived at the hospital the victim was declared dead due to bleeding.
"As a result of checking and medical information at Tarakan Hospital, the victim came dead due to bleeding due to an open wound on the right side of the back," he said.
Haris said that the officers had carried out the crime scene (TKP) and examined a number of witnesses and the victims had also been autopsied.
"We are conducting further investigations to reveal this case," he said.
