Android 16 Canary Increased Parental Control Trial
JAKARTA Not long ago, Google overhauled the developer preview process and beta testing with the latest Android canary version. This reshuffle was carried out to perfect Android 16.
In the latest version of Android 16, there are a number of improvements that can be seen, one of which is the control of new parents who are designed to be more sophisticated. In this latest version, parental control gains improvement in maintaining child safety.
This improvement was discovered by the Android Authority under Digital Welfare control, precisely in Settings. Users will see new options with the Parental Control label. The label includes basic rules regarding the use of digital devices.
In addition, Google also added a time limit for using the screen into the menu. Android actually already has a screen usage time limit feature, but this new feature will make it easier for parents to control their children's activities.

For now, the Parental Control is not fully functioning because it is still in the development stage. Given that the Canary version of Android 16 is still entering its early stages of development, there are still many processes that Google needs to work on.
If Parental Controls work like the Supervision feature seen in previous beta releases, users may get a button to enable enhanced device protection. This feature includes tighter supervision.
The system will filter web content, playgroup digital rules, and other restrictions on online applications and services. This protection feature can also block certain sites or explicit content on Google Search.
