Indosat And Mastercard Launch Digital Literacy Training Module For DTS Komdigi

JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Mastercard launched a digital literacy training module through the Learning Management System (LMS) platform which is integrated with the Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS) platform.

This launch is a continuation of its strategic collaboration with the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs to prepare one million Indonesian digital talents in 2029.

"We are proud to be able to return to collaborating with Indosat in building Indonesia's digital ecosystem," said Head of BPSDM Komdigi, Boni Pudjianto in his official statement.

Each module from Indosat and Mastercard is designed with a practical approach that is easy to implement, and is aimed at the general public and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Director and Chief Human Resources Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Irsyad Sahroni emphasized that this collaboration is a tangible manifestation of Indosat's commitment to expanding access to digital education in Indonesia.

Training participants will learn basic skills such as understanding cyber risks, updating devices and security systems, creating powerful passwords, and avoiding phishing and malware attacks.

After completing the learning module, participants will get a certificate with the material presented in Indonesian.

"Mastercard believes that digital literacy and awareness of cybersecurity are an important element in building national digital resilience," added warna Goh, Country Manager, Mastercard Indonesia.

Previously, to strengthen Indonesia's cybersecurity, Indosat and Mastercard had also launched the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (COE) an initiative to increase public awareness and knowledge of cybersecurity for free.
