Galaxy S26 Edge Leaks Reveals Advanced Ultra-Wide 50MP Camera
JAKARTA - The latest leak into Samsung's Galaxy S26 series indicates that the Galaxy S26 Edge will be equipped with a significant 50MP ultra-wide camera upgrade, much better than the current model.
Meanwhile, the top model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, will continue to use the 200MP main sensor, and a "Next Smart Ring" may be launched simultaneously with this phone.
The new wave of leaks provides an early picture of Samsung's next flagship phone line, the Galaxy S26 series, although its official launch is still a few months away. Recent reports highlight significant improvements to the super thin Galaxy S26 Edge camera.
According to WinFuture, citing information from "relevant data base," Samsung internally named the Galaxy S26 series project as "Next Paradigm," continuing the evolution of the Galaxy S25 series known as "Paradigm."
The database data reveals three different models: NPA1, NPA2, and NPA3. The most interesting details are centered on the NPA2 model, which is the second step in the upcoming series. Interestingly, previous rumors and recent reports suggest that Samsung may replace the traditional Galaxy S26 Plus model with the very thin Galaxy S26 Edge. This means the Galaxy S25 Plus is likely to be the last "Plus" model in the history of this series.
If this latest report is correct, the Galaxy S26 Edge will get a substantial camera upgrade with a new 50MP ultra-wide sensor. This is a huge leap from the 12MP ultra-wide camera on the Galaxy S25 Plus and S25 Edge, promising sharper details and better performance for wide angle shooting.

Limited Details For Other Models
For other models, there is not much information about the basic Galaxy S26 (NPA1). Meanwhile, the top NPA3 model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is expected to use a 200MP main camera sensor and a 50MP telephoto camera, most of which is similar to the specifications of the S25 Ultra rear camera.
However, rumors about the 200MP S26 Ultra sensor are still confusing. Some initial leaks mention a new lens upgrade for the current ISOCELL 200MP sensor, while other reports suggest Samsung may be using a new 200MP sensor developed by Sony. It's too early to confirm which details will prove accurate.
The report also mentions a "Next Smart Ring," hinting at a possible launch along with the Galaxy S26 series. This suggests that Samsung may expand its wearables ecosystem alongside the launch of its next flagship phone.
