IPhone 17 Pro Will Come With A Surprising New Color Of Orange

JAKARTA - Ahead of the launch of the iPhone 17 scheduled for September 2025, speculations about color variants began to emerge more intensely. One of the latest leaks came from Sonny Dickson, who uploaded a camera lens shield image through platform X on Monday, July 14.

The image shows a number of components that are strongly suspected to be lens shields for the iPhone 17, which indirectly hints at new colors that will be available at launch.

The images shared show three sets of rear camera shields, and Dickson claims that each set represents a color variant of a different iPhone model. For the standard iPhone 17, it is said to be present in the choice of black, gray, silver, light blue, light green, and light purple colors. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Air is said to be available in black, silver, gray blue, and light gold.

The most interesting thing is the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max variants which will reportedly have five color choices, namely black, gray, silver, dark blue, and orange. This orange color is referred to as a quite surprising and unusual choice.

Dickson suspects that the orange color will be combined with a new feel like dark gold or copper, giving a premium look different from the previous generation.

Sonny Dickson is known as a fairly reliable leaker. He has leaked previous iPhone 16 mockups that have proven accurate, including the correct screen size. Although information about colors is not always as big as leaked features or technical specifications, news like this still attracts the attention of Apple fans and often provides early clues about upcoming design aesthetics.

Apart from Dickson, other leakers such as Majin Bu and Fixed Focus Digital also contributed to color speculation. Majin Bu previously said the iPhone 17 Air would be available in four colors, namely black, light blue, light gold, and silver.

He also emphasized that the light blue color will not be used for the Pro model. Meanwhile, Fixed Focus Digital supports claims regarding the presence of the Sky Blue color on the iPhone 17 Air.
