Victims Of Serial Accidents In Utan Kayu Demand Toyota Fortuner Driver With Fake TNI Service Plates
JAKARTA - A number of victims of consecutive accidents who were hit by a black Toyota Fortuner driver with an official license plate finally finished undergoing intensive care at the Friendship Hospital (RS), East Jakarta.
"The injured victim has gradually recovered considering only minor injuries. He was treated at the Friendship Hospital," said Head of Traffic Unit of the East Jakarta Police, AKP Darwis when confirmed by VOI, Monday, July 14, 2025.
Currently, the accident case is still under investigation by the East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Laka Unit. The police have also investigated a number of accident victims and Fortuner drivers with service plates.
"(the case) is still under investigation," he said.
Meanwhile, the accident victims demanded that the perpetrators repair their damaged vehicles and financed medical expenses.
"We are mediating regarding the loss," he said.
The accident victims have also made an official report at the East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Office.
"The victim has made a report. We have found it earlier and we created a group community related to several friends who were victims, so that communication will be easier," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the accident that occurred on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, precisely near the Transjakarta Utan Kayu bus stop, Matraman District, East Jakarta, was caused by a Toyota Fortuner car that hit first.
According to Ridwan, the taxi driver who was the victim of the collision, the incident began when the road was in a state of the car stopping because the traffic light was red.
Suddenly waiting for the green light, the official plated Toyota Fortuner drove from Jatinegara to Rawamangun. The car lost control and crashed into the vehicle that was stopped in front of it.
