Tight Schedule For Man United, Match Versus Liverpool Will Be On May 13
JAKARTA - Manchester United's match against Liverpool at Old Trafford which was postponed after supporters occupied the stadium has been rescheduled to Thursday 13 May at 20:15 local time or Friday 02.15 western Indonesia time, as stated by the Premier League.
This new schedule meant that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team had to compete three times in a period of five days.
Demonstrators who wreaked havoc at the United team hotel and then Old Trafford, including occupying a COVID-19-free area of the stadium, forced last week's match between the two teams to be canceled following consultations between Greater Manchester Police, the Premier League, and the two clubs.
United face disciplinary action, including fines, stadium closure, or points deductions, as a result of the postponement.
The Premier League and the English Football Association are conducting an investigation into the circumstances which led to the postponement of the match.
But because the league season will end in less than three weeks, the United vs Liverpool match was rescheduled for May 13, even though MU is now facing a very busy schedule.
