Samsung Now Brief Now Presents Personalized YouTube Recommendations

JAKARTA Samsung has upgraded the Now Brief feature on their latest One UI, making it easier for users to find YouTube videos they might like. This update, which was first spotted on Samsung's latest foldable device, allows personalized YouTube recommendations to appear in the user's daily summary.

The updated Now Brief feature in One UI 8, which comes along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, now includes read-latitude options and several new types of info cards. One of the most significant additions is the YouTube info card, which displays video recommendations that are tailored to users' interests directly in their daily summary.

To enable this feature, users simply activate the YouTube button in the "Content to be included" menu on Now Brief. When it's first enabled, Now Brief will ask for access to the user's YouTube account to provide personalized recommendations. Thus, in addition to providing useful daily information, the Now Brief summary will also help users find relevant new videos.

In addition to YouTube cards, Samsung also added other types of new info cards such as parking reminders, smart home updates, and wearable battery warnings, making Now Brief even more functional.

Currently, this YouTube recommendation feature is only available on Samsung's latest foldable phone. However, it is expected to be coming soon for more Galaxy users with the One UI 8 update stable in the coming weeks.
