4 Injured In House Fire In Jakut, Including A Shortness Of Breath Baby
JAKARTA - A two-story semi-permanent house in Sukapura, Cilincing, North Jakarta (Jakut), was engulfed in flames on Saturday, July 12, causing four people to be injured and material losses reaching hundreds of millions of rupiah.
The house fire was allegedly caused by an electrical short circuit and occurred at around 22.54 WIB, according to data from the North Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. officer Achmad Sadeli received by Antara on Sunday, July 13 in the morning.
According to the chronology of the incident, the fire allegedly came from the second floor of the house while the occupant was resting downstairs.
Seeing the red light, a swift citizen, Putri, then contacted the authorities.
Twelve fire engines and 60 personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene, arriving at 23.00 WIB.

The incident affected an area of 80 square meters and resulted in losses estimated at Rp112,480,000.
Although two families consisting of six people were rescued, four of them needed medical treatment.
The victim with the initials M (58) and the baby R (16 months) experienced shortness of breath, SA (28) suffered burns to his right leg, and a toddler Q (4) suffered minor burns to his palm.
The victim was taken to the Workers' General Hospital in Sukapura, Cilincing, for medical treatment.
