JAKARTA - The police have begun to block access to Jakarta to prevent travelers from going home during the prohibition period. The lockdown was carried out under police custody at 00.00 WIB at midnight.

Previously, the Police Headquarters Traffic Inspector General Istiono said Ketupat Operation 2021 would be held for 12 days, from 6 to 17 May 2021.
There are 155,000 joint personnel consisting of 90,502 Police personnel and 11,533 TNI personnel as well as 52,880 personnel from related agencies who are deployed in Ketupat Operation.
