Sri Mulyani And Pandu Sjahrir Meet To Discuss Job Creation Via Danantara
Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati held a meeting with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the Anagata Nusantara Resources Investment Management Agency (Danantara Indonesia) Pandu Sjahrir.
In the personal upload of the official Instagram account @smindrawati, Sri Mulyani explained, the meeting also discussed long-term investment strategies for job creation through Danantara.
"Our meeting discussed a long-term investment strategy and Danantara's vision to create jobs through business processes in BUMN," he wrote, quoted on Thursday, July 10.
Sri Mulyani conveyed that in this meeting, various crucial issues in the energy and mineral sectors became a topic of conversation.
He added that the focus in the meeting was directed at the importance of investing in several strategic commodities as part of a long-term development commitment.
"Dantara's investment must remain rooted in the public interest. With good commitment and governance, this meeting is an important step towards managing more accountable and pro-investment state finances," he said.
Prior to the meeting with CIO Danantara Indonesia, Sri Mulyani first met with Deputy Minister of BUMN Kartika Wirjoatmodjo.

He conveyed that the meeting discussed further the initiative of the Red and White Village Cooperative - how we can design its governance prudently, credible, and maintain accountability.
"According to President @prabowo's message, the financing and governance strategy of the Red and White Village Cooperative is an important key so that this initiative remains sustainable. This will continue to be a concern of the Government," he explained.
Sri Mulyani hopes that the Red and White Village Cooperative can become a new foundation for the economic independence of the village managed in a transparent manner, so that it can grow healthy and provide real benefits for the people.
