Ministry Of Defense Investigates Website Hacking Case
JAKARTA - Head of the Defense Information Bureau (Karo Infohan) of the Secretariat General of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Frega Ferdinand Wenas Inkiriwang said his party had investigated the alleged hacking of the Ministry of Defense's official website.
"The Ministry of Defense is currently conducting an investigation with the cybersecurity technical team and related work units," Frega said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 9.
Frega appealed to the public not to be influenced by the hacking information because the truth has not been confirmed.
He also asked the public to wait for further official information from the Ministry of Defense regarding the hack.
On the other hand, Frega ensures that his staff is professional in protecting personal data on the Ministry of Defense website.
"The Ministry of Defense affirms its commitment to maintaining data confidentiality in accordance with Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, and will take steps to strengthen the system," Frega explained.

In the upload of the @H4ckmanac X account, it is explained that the hacker has broken into 700,000 data on CPNS acceptance from the Ministry of Defense consisting of NIK, address and location of participant exams.
