Indonesian Foreign Ministry And Relatives Employees Will Be Examined By Police In The Aftermath Of Arya Daru's Young Diplomat Death
The Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit will examine a number of employees of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) regarding the death of Arya Daru Pangayunan (39), a Young Diplomat.
"We will summon Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees to be questioned in the case of the investigation of the death of an employee of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs," said Acting Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Karyono when confirmed, Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
In addition to examining other Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees, the police will also examine the victim's close relatives.
"Resolutions and the families of the victims will also be taken information in the case of the investigation of the death of an employee of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs," he said.
Kompol Karyono said, so far four witnesses have been questioned and examined by Circuit Closed Television (CCTV).

Until now, the police have not been able to conclude whether the victim was killed.
"The results of the autopsy have not yet come out. We cannot conclude the cause of death of the victim," he said.
The case of the death of the young diplomat of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is still being handled by a joint team from the Menteng Metro Police with the help of the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim and Polda Metro Jaya.
Previously, a man was found dead with a yellow duct tape wrapped in the 'Gues House Gondia' indecoth in room 105, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (08/07/2025). The victim is known to have the initials ADP (39) from Yogyakarta, Central Java.
