The Finding Of The Body Of A Murder Victim At Menteng Kosan-kosan Is Still Under Investigation At The TKP

The joint team of Polda Metro Jaya, Polres Metro Central Jakarta and Polsek Metro Menteng are still investigating the crime scene (TKP) at Indekost 'Gues House Gondia' Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8, afternoon.

The joint team is still looking for and collecting some evidence from the scene where the victim was found dead in duct tape.

"Some members are still processing the crime scene, still looking for some evidence. Because some from the Polsek, Polres and Polda teams also went down," said Central Metro Police Chief, Kompol Rezha Rahandhi to VOI.

Some of the evidence that had been confiscated were the victim's wallet, IDR 419 thousand in cash, victim's ID card, driver's license and ATM card.

"We are still looking for CCTV," he said.

Meanwhile, the location of the incident has been installed by a police line to facilitate the investigation process.

The police chief said that the discovery of the corpse began with a public report, namely a rented guard or boarding house who reported it to the Menteng Metro Police.

"Initially there were reports from residents to us, the Menteng Metro Policenks that a body was found. Reports from rented guards or boarding houses," he explained.

After checking, it turned out that the victim was found dead with a face covered with duct tape. However, there were no signs of violence on the victim's body when the Central Jakarta Metro Police identification team identified the body.

Currently, the victim's body has been taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for an autopsy. Meanwhile, the case is still being handled by the Menteng Police.

Previously, it was reported that a man was found dead with a yellow duct tape wrapped in the 'Gues House Gondia' indecoth in room 105, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

The victim is known to have the initials ADP (39) early Yogyakarta, Central Java.
