Had Fled To Solo, A Gang Of Female Notary Killers In Bekasi Managed To Be Arrested

JAKARTA - The Sub-Directorate of Resmob Polda Metro Jaya managed to arrest the alleged perpetrators of the murder of a female notary named Sidah Alatas (60) from Bogor whose body was found tied in the Citarum River, Kedungwaringin, Bekasi, West Java.

"From the findings at the crime scene and the results of the autopsy, the Metro Jaya Police Resmob Sub-Directorate team managed to arrest 3 perpetrators in Karang Anyar, Solo, Central Java," said Panit 1 Sub-Directorate of Resmob Polda Metro Jaya, AKP Iskandar Zulkarnaen to reporters, Monday, July 7.

From the arrests of the three people, the Resmob team again carried out developments and succeeded in arresting other perpetrators.

"Furthermore, we carried out developments and succeeded in arresting 3 other people who were suspected of buying stolen goods," he said.

The perpetrators were then taken to Polda Metro Jaya for further investigation. The police have not been able to reveal the motive behind the murder of a woman named Sidah Alatas.

"Currently, we are still investigating the motive for the murder of the victim with the initials SA. However, it is suspected that the perpetrator carried out the action to control the victim's belongings," he said.

The perpetrators are threatened with murder for their actions.

"For the time being, the article we apply is Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder. We are still investigating the premeditated murder," he added.

Just so you know, the victim named Sidah Alatas was previously reported missing on July 1, 2025 at the Tanah Sereal Bogor Police, West Java. Then his body was found on the banks of the Citarum River, Bekasi, West Java on July 3, 2025.
