The Wife Of The Minister Of MSMEs On Travel To Europe: Use Personal Money And Don't Ask For Assistance

JAKARTA - Gustiana Hastarini or Tina Astari has recently been widely discussed after a letter of application for facilities to Europe circulated on social media. The wife of the Minister of MSMEs Maman Abdurrahaman opened her voice regarding the news.

Through his official Instagram social media @tina.astari, Tina provided clarification. He confirmed that he traveled to Europe.

"I'm sorry if I can only clarify the news circulating for 3 days on social media. It's true that I traveled to Europe," wrote Tina, quoted from Instagram @tina.astari, Sunday, July 6.

However, continued Tina, the trip was in order to accompany her 12-year-old daughter to take part in the Euro folk 2025 Cultural Mission festival with her school team to represent Indonesia.

"On this trip I have been preparing since May for my needs such as hotels, my vehicle has also been eating here and I have paid everything in my personal money from my personal account," wrote Tina.

Tina also said that all the proof of payment made for a trip to Europe had been given to her husband, the Minister of MSMEs Maman Abdurrahman.

"And it was also handed over to the KPK in the form of our public responsibility and the family who also on the previous day my husband had clarified by bringing proof of my payment invoice since May," he said.

For your information, Tina is in the public spotlight because her name is listed in the official letter of the Ministry of MSMEs regarding the 'Cultural Mission' visit. The letter contains requests for support and facilities for visits to several European countries for 14 days, from June 30 to July 14, 2025.

The letter was addressed to a number of representatives of Indonesian diplomats in countries such as Turkey, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Italy. The letter numbered B-466/SM.MSME/PR.01/2025 was signed by the Secretary of the Ministry of MSMEs, Arif Rahman Hakim.

Terkit surat tersebut, Tina mengaku tidak mengetahui. Dia menegaskan tak pernah meminta buatkan surat untuk mendapatkan pendampingan dari KBRI di negara-negara tersebut.

"Because if you look back, the letter was only made on June 30, 2025. Meanwhile, my daughter and I have carried out departures on June 29, 2025," he said.

Tina also emphasized that while she was in Europe, there was no assistance from other parties besides her daughter's school group. He again emphasized not using the state budget.

"Since I arrived and as long as I have been here there has been no assistance from other parties besides my daughter's school group and also accompanying teachers and several parents who participated," he said.

"And at all I don't use a state budget that doesn't ask for facilities from any party," he continued.
