TGC Jakarta 2025 Presents The Final Stage Of A Strategic Fashion And Entertainment Association

JAKARTA - The famous Japanese fashion festival, the Tokyo Girls Collection for the first time was present in Indonesia, through the KAO presents TGC Jakarta 2025 movement. The final show entitled 'A Stage for Every Woman to Shine' was held spectacularly at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on 5-6 July 2025.

The final combines fashion elements with entertainment that highlight women's self-expression and diversity. This concept is in line with the original character TGC in Japan.

For more than two decades, we have presented a space celebrating women's diversity and creativity. We are very excited to bring this experience to Indonesia with a touch of local culture," said TOKYO INC Chief Producer Chief Executive Officer Yukiko Ikeda, during a press conference at the JCC, on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

Yukiko said that Jakarta was chosen as the first city because it was considered a national and strategic creative community center for the development of an inclusive mode movement in Southeast Asia. He hopes that this event can be held every year in Jakarta in the future.

"Hopefully this inaugural event can be successful, so that this event can become an annual event in Indonesia," Yukiko continued.

At this event, a number of local designers who worked with well-known Indonesian musicians also participated. They combine fashion with entertainment, thus presenting extraordinary stage performances.

The label DANJYO HIYOJI by Dana Maulana features a collection of bright streetwear, which depicts the spirit of young women today. The appearance of this collection is combined with stage actions from young female musician Lyodra Ginting, DJ Nada Serodja, and the dance of Kreasi Mardika.

"We want women to feel shining with the clothes they wear. This event is also very useful for us, because this is a forum for us to appear not only in Indonesian territory. Here is Japanese media, and it's time for us to be seen in the world, especially Japan, yes, more internationally," said Dana Maulana.

Another local designer who participated was Hartono Gan, who displayed an exclusive collection inspired by the spirit of women's empowerment. The appearance of this collection is combined with the stage action of Vidi Aldiano.

There is also the latest collection of TS The Label owned by designer Titiek Sapoetra which features a silhouette of egdy, contemporary, and combined with Alika Islamadina, Rangga Moela, Audrey Tapiheru, and Band Rewind stage actions.

Not to forget designerru Soeriaatmadja also presented a collection of two labels known as contemporary streetwear aesthetics and sports, which reflect the spirit of young people.
