Flood Victims In Kramat Jati Evacuated To Seven Refugee Command Posts

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) said it had prepared 7 evacuation locations for victims affected by flooding at a number of points in the East Jakarta area.

As of Sunday (06/07/2025) afternoon, a number of residents who were trapped in floods in their homes in the Cililitan area, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, also continued to be evacuated by DKI Jakarta BPBD officers using rubber boats.

"The refugee locations are in the hall of Bidara Cina sub-district, RPTRA Bidara Cina and Jami Al-Abror Bidara Cina Mosque with a temporary number of refugees with 33 families (KK) with 136 people," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta, Isnawa Adji when confirmed.

Meanwhile, the flood victims at the Jami Ittihadul Ikhwan Mosque amounted to 24 families (KK) with 74 people.

"The repatriation at SDN 01/02 Kampung Melayu accommodates 36 families with 119 people," he said.

The refugee camp at the Al-Hawi Cililitan Mosque is inhabited by 11 refugees. The 11 families of refugees consisting of 30 people were forced to flee at the Al-Ishalah Mushala Campus Binawan Cawang.

Meanwhile, based on data up to 15.00 WIB, BPBD Jakarta said that the flood inundation on Sunday afternoon hit 50 RTs in the Jakarta area.

Meanwhile, the areas that have receded from the flood inundation are in 3 RTs of Gedong Village, East Jakarta and 1 RT in Tanjung Barat Village, South Jakarta.

"The inundation is targeted to recede in a short time. BPBD DKI urges the public to remain careful and alert to potential inundation," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the impact of the increase in the Sunter Hulu Monitoring Post on standby 3 (Alert) on Sunday (06/07/2025) in the morning at around 01.00 WIB and the increase at the Alert Pesanggrahan 3 Monitoring Post (Alert) at 03.00 WIB caused flood inundation in the DKI Jakarta area.
