Hundreds Of Masses From Various Elements Of Geruduk Kejari Bekasi City, Urge To Investigate Cases Of Alleged Corruption In Sports Equipment
BEKASI Hundreds of students who are members of a number of elements of action such as the Bekasi People's TITah, Tri Nusa, Formation, and Barisan Muda Bekasi held a massive demonstration in front of the Bekasi City Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) on Friday, July 4, 2025.
They demanded that the Prosecutor's Office immediately examine the Mayor of Bekasi, Tri Adhianto, who is suspected of being involved in the corruption case in the field of sports equipment procurement at the Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) for the 2023 fiscal year.
In their oration, the students voiced demands that law enforcement officers act decisively and not selectively, including against regional heads and a number of members of the Bekasi City DPRD who were also mentioned in the vortex of the case. State losses due to this alleged corruption reached Rp 4.7 billion.
"This is not a matter of position or position, this is a matter of courage in enforcing the law! We urge the Bekasi City Kejari to show his spurs, call and examine the Mayor of Bekasi Tri Adhianto and the members of the council who are suspected of being involved," exclaimed the Bekasi People's TITah Field Coordinator, Ali Akbar, in the middle of a demonstration.
The mass of action also highlighted the alleged double identity of the Chairman of the Bekasi City CORMI, Dwi Setyowati alias Wiwiek Hargono, who is none other than the wife of Tri Adhianto. They demanded that the authorities immediately investigate further on the suspicion.

Maksum Alfarizi alias Mandor Baya, Chairman of NGO Tri Nusa Bekasi Raya, stated that his party had submitted a number of evidences to the Kejari investigators and urged that immediate examination steps be taken against all parties suspected of being involved.
"Like drug cases, all arrested first, then investigated. Why is this case not done the same? We have video evidence and photos, including the involvement of DPRD personnel with the initials FH, ARH, and ND. The Prosecutor's Office must act, if it is not able, it is better to resign!" said Mandor Baya.
This action also highlighted the viral video of a crab party at the PT CIA office with several parties who are now under the spotlight in the investigation. Students and activists asked all parties in the video to be summoned and examined transparently.
Responding to the pressure from the demonstrators, the Head of the Intelligence Section of the Bekasi City Kejari, Riyan Anugrah, who met the protesters, stated his commitment to follow up on the evidence that had been submitted.
"We appreciate the input and evidence from friends. We make sure the inspection process will run, and whoever is involved, without selective logging, we will examine. The determination of the suspect must still be based on sufficient evidence," said Riyan when meeting protesters.
The statement was greeted with cheers from students who emphasized that they would continue to oversee the legal process to completion, including holding further action if the Kejari was deemed slow in handling the case.
