Become A Song Filler, Marshanda Builds Connection With Characters In La Tahzan Film

JAKARTA - Marshanda is trusted to be the official background music filler for MD Pictures' latest film, La Tahzan, which will soon be released in Indonesian cinemas.

When asked how he felt when he was offered for the first time to be a singer, Marshanda admitted that he was very happy, especially since singing became one of his favorite activities.

"The consideration is that I'm actually very happy because I miss singing and that's what I like to do, it appears again in my career in the music river, so I see this as a blessing, an extraordinary sustenance, so I'm really happy," said Marshanda in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Friday, July 4th.

Uniquely, to explore every piece of lyrics given, Marshanda felt that he had to be connected to his role in this film, namely Alina, who is a victim of her husband's affair.

"And I feel that Alina's character is experienced, so I was channeling Alina, the feeling she feels as a victim, confused, injured, so the lyrics of the song really represent Alina's feelings," said Marshanda.

La Tahzan Film Producer Executive, Manoj Punjabi said that the background songs in this film specifically contain composer Andi Rianto's song.

Because for Manoj Punjabi it's not easy to enter a song that fits the big screen film.

"I'm used to this big film, I always want a box office production song and the famous charcoal maker must be fixed. We've worked with several titles, but the comeback for the first big screen is yes. So I'm very excited with touching lyrics," he explained.

"All the songs that hear on the spotify or platform and are pleasing to hear, are not necessarily suitable for the big screen. That's the formula and the first time working with this big project I am very excited and thank you for getting the formula. So, cool, Mr. Andi," concluded Manoj.
